The Shipyard

Great place for Lunch/Dinner. Super friendly staff, outdoor seating with beautiful view, great music and good atmosphere. I ordered the clam spaghetti and my boyfriend smashed burgers, and tuna tartare, everything was really delicious. My only comment would be to try fitting some extra umbrellas on the dock for the sunny summer days!

A beautiful day with great food. Lovely atmosphere, great conversation with Alyse and I left with a stunning bouquet of roses. Thank you for a great experience.

This place is so amazing. The hostess was so friendly and accommodating. She greeted us with such warmth, it was so nice. The food was delicious! I definitely recommend the octopus appetizer and the salmon entree, it was excellent and flavorful. They do have a cute outside seating area but it was too cold today.

Olivia our server, wow, off the charts!!! The food, oysters, homemade pasta and clams, and yes, yes, Olivia's service was stellar! Beautiful view, on the water, (bring a jacket), great vibe. Incredible fresh food and super service!

The Shipyard is under new ownership and is the perfect spot to enjoy a gorgeous lunch or dinner on the North Fork. Situated right on the dock in Greenport, tucked away around the corner from Preston's is this bright, beautiful, intimate restaurant with additional open seating over the water on the dock. It is stunning. We were greeted warmly by the lovely owners, and enjoyed a relaxing, wonderful meal. I absolutely loved the mezzalune - house made pasta stuffed with ricotta in a simple, clean pomodoro tomato sauce. The pasta was like a pillow! We will be back. Thank you for a great time at The Shipyard!

The sweetest hidden gem of a bar in all of Greenport! Unbeknownst to us, we wandered over to The Shipyard seeking respite, a view, and some delicious cocktails. Upon arriving we were greeted by a gracious bartender and the super kind owners who happened to be eating at the bar, but made it a point to make room for us. The cocktails were delicious, the view was as promised, and the company was fabulous. Looking forward to returning!

It was our 9th anniversary on 9/19 and this place has been the subject of many of my photos of Greenport so we decided to finally try it out. Best meal we have had in Greenport over the years! The wait staff was excellent and very accommodating to us. If I had any suggestions, it would be to offer tea. Lovely views! Great food and service, made our 9th anniversary very memorable! My first time in Greenport and I’m so glad we chose to have lunch here. Their lobster roll was literally the best I’ve had on LI. Don’t waste your time trying them anywhere else as I have, save yourself the trouble and come straight here instead. We also had oysters on the half shelf and they were so fresh! They came with a red wine vinegar that complemented them so well. Their homemade chips were also great, we had to ask for some to go to my toddler. The staff was delightful, especially dealing with my son who kept asking for things. I will definitely be going back here again! And for those who like a drink - the watermelon mojito was quite refreshing on a hot summer day!
